This is a great thing to keep in mind when running. I go over a few things in my mind to focus on, especially when I am getting tired. Each one helps. Some of the others ones are to raise my heels and to keep my hands loose and lean forward from the ankle not hunch over this helps to propel forward - I read about these in Chi Running and they make a huge difference. When I start to tire I go over these things to improve my form instead of letting it deteriorate causing more fatigue.
