I received my Ph.D. in physics from Stanford, and then worked in a variety of fields, including cryptography and cognitive science. I'm now semi-retired and run a small not-for-profit research organization. We focus on applying cognitive science results to learning mathematics. I've helped hundreds of calculus students learn calculus, and hope I can be helpful to you as well.
