You are a proponent of midfoot striking. What do you make of the following article: http://running.competitor.com/2014/02/injury-prevention/is-it-harmful-to-heel-strike-when-running_95678

I'm aware of the continuously rolling research and commentary on the subject. My view is what you might call "clinical"; as a Feldenkrais practitioner I've found that when a person experiences what a healthy "core action" feels like, their running becomes much easier and more comfortable, they run faster, and the spontaneously self-select a midfoot strike (with the context-sensitive variability that is the hallmark of truly skillful running.) Read my blog for much more on the subject!

I wanted much much more advanced information. This was far too basic. I did not consider it worth the $9.99. Frankly it was a waste of time and was worth nothing to me.

Hi Chuck, I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed. I can't tell from your comment whether you're unhappy with just the run/walk video or the whole 10-video course, could you let me know?

Great video and advice Jae! I am working on my cadence and trying for at least 170 steps (or 180 as my physio recommends). Many thanks. Jane

Yes, it was very valuable, although I am going to have to give it a try before I can write a more considered response.
