I am a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, homeschooling parent, writer, speaker, and unabashed smart-ass. My certifications include personal training (AFAA), Pilates (Physical Mind Institute), online personal training (inerTRAIN) & Silver Sneakers Senior Fitness (Healthways).
I've been involved in fitness for over 25 years. I have a BS in Elementary Education & Health Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and worked as a group fitness instructor and then volleyball & track coach before seeking my PT certification.
