Let me re word. How can you tell what it is on the X-ray if their is fluid in/around both lungs. Which way will the trachea be pushed/pulled?

Thanks for the question. If there was equal force on both sides then the trachea probably wouldn't be pulled in either direction. You would probably need ultrasound imaging for further assistance.
