Learn Hip Hop With Rhythm

Darrell "Rhythm" Whitaker is more than just a dancer-he's an inspiration. Dedicated to sharing his unique gift with whoever is willing to learn, Rhythm's devotion to others is as unshakable as his love of dancing.

Like most performers, he began honing his craft at a young age, five years old to be precise. By 11 he was performing as a professional. Reared in Los Angeles, a birthplace for big dreams, Rhythm's first formal training was Hip Hop.

"My motivation for dancing is the new styles and flavors of music that [are] constantly evolving," he excitedly relays. "[That] drives me to create and express myself"

Inspired by legendary dancers, Michael Jackson, Fatima, and Debbie Allen, Rhythm has established himself as a force on the dance scene. He's worked with numerous mega-stars including Jessica Simpson, Will Smith, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo and Santana among others. He also lent his talents to the cult dance hit You Got Served starring B2K and Marques Houston. And while he's proud of his accomplishments and the work he's done with celebrities, basking in the limelight is not what drives him.
