Hi Yuu. I love your lessons. I have done all 6. Will you be posting more soon?
Yuu Asakura
Yes, Denis, I will post a new one soon. Thank you for watching all of my 6 videos!! Which one did you like the most?
Denis L
I liked the one about how to pronounce numbers. You helped me realize I wasn't pronouncing them all correctly. It is very helpful to hear a native speaker; books aren't nearly as good.

I have a question. do you only use the counter words when you're actually counting something or would you also use it when saying something like, "there are 4 dogs."? thanks.
Yuu Asakura
Hi Howard, thank you for the question. Yes, your guess is right - you need to use the counter whenever you're using numbers with a specific noun. "There are 4 dogs." is "Yonhiki inu ga imasu." Side note - you don't have to specify the number unless it's necessary. Since we don't have singlular/plural forms for noun, we can say "there are dog." when you don't need to mention how many of them.
