Telling real life stories with video is one of the most powerful things we can do to get our ideas across. I've been a documentary filmmaker for over 15 years and want to pass on what I have learned to you. While my focus has always been on science and natural history docs, (I have an MFA in Science Filmmaking from Montana State and a MS in Marine Science from Univ. of Hawaii) the art of telling a real life story transcends the confines of my genre.
