I noticed that when you say note names for this lesson, you used mames with flats like G flat. Is there a reason why for this enharmonic spelling since I realize this cover is roughly in the key of D major?
Paul Corgan
Hi Ashleee, good catch! And yes! I decided early on to refer to all black notes as flats when teaching. I know this is incorrect music theory-wise, but it makes my lessons more accessible to any level of pianist. Those who know better can understand the concepts either way! Thanks for watching and for the comment!

Where is the right hand music located ---- you state to practice hands separately and this novice is wondering if the music is somewhere here. thank you
Paul Corgan
Hi David, sorry for any confusion. I actually teach strictly by ear and thus read out all the notes to students. I find that this is a really effective way to introduce piano to beginners and it's the way I prefer to learn myself! Best of luck !~ Paul
