Hi Jennifer and Kitty! How would you recommend disposing of the water used to clean off the sponges used for grouting? Also, can one evaporate the water and reuse the dry grout mix that remains? Thanks for the thorough lesson!

Great question! We recommend setting the sponge-rinsing container outside or in the garage until the water evaporates. Once it has evaporated, you can wipe out the dried grout with a paper towel or rag then throw it away. We don't recommend trying to re-use the dry grout mix that's left in your container as the grout might not set up properly. (Also, there could be bits of sponge mixed in with the grout, and you wouldn't want them to wind up in your beautiful mosaic!) Hope that helps!

Great question, Sue! Yes, you can used pre-mixed grout as long as you choose one that is okay for working with glass tiles. Just read on the grout packaging for that information. You'll also want to choose a pre-mixed grout for grout lines that are 1/8" to 1/4" wide. Hope that helps!
