Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey recently set out on a quest to find the oldest ice in Antarctica, hoping that the ice might reveal key information about the history of climate change and the cyclical nature of Earth’s ice ages. Today’s Nerdy Curio takes us even further back in time to examine the evidence for one of the deadliest ice ages ever, which occurred about 444 million years ago.
