I noticed you have a lot of triangles in your model. What is your reason for this? My previous Maya classes indicated that we should avoid triangles as much as possible.
Michael McKinley
Because this model doesn't deform like a character would, it's not quite as important to avoid triangles, although it's still a good practice to not have too many. At the end of the process, we'll be applying a smooth operation to the meshes, which will get rid of the triangles as well. Hope you enjoy the course!
