Young children should not be given low fat milk. Nobody should drink skim milk. Some fat is necessary for the proper processing of nutrients.

This is definitely true. My nutritionist backs this comment up. And people can live with a lot less! I consume less than 10grams a day (following a 180lb weight loss due to gastric bypass) Less sugar equals no sugar crash, no acne breakouts, maintained weight, and overall better health!! I don't eat/drink fruits due to natural sugar content either. For adults, Stevia/Truvia is best substitute and (for adults) no-sugar drink mix in water is great for those who don't tolerate plain water well!
