I wanted to tell you I have eaten quite a bit of Middle Eastern dishes but not this. I cannot wait to try it. I would like to ask you what Sumac is? Thanks JoAnn McBrady

Feast in the Middle East
Hi JoAnn--great question! Sumac is a spice that comes from the sumac berry that is purple and has a lemony flavor. It goes great with fish and chicken as it imparts a zesty lemon flavor without acidity.
