Nice work. Learning technics is first thing but I think we all should come back with those from time to time. Although your own voice is important, you shouldn't drown to it. Very healthful to go back to roots, which are not your own but somekind of facts. Thanks.

Definitely agree. In my writing I need to keep my own voice, but having friends and good editors look over it helps my voice become a better version of my voice.

Pick a topic, and try writing something. It can be simple at first, setting the stage for a scene for example. Then have someone you trust read over it, make suggestions and then go back and try again. The only way to get better at writing is to keep at it.
