David Youngman has received a number of national and international awards for his music over the last two years including runner up twice at the Canadian Guitar Festival Competition and third place at the 2014 International Fingerstyle Competition at the Walnut Valley Festival. Recently David released his third solo album titled Trust that included a tour around the Midwest. Along with performing he is also passionate about creating better teaching methods for the guitar. Youngman is the head guitar instructor at Spring Arbor University and also teaches in workshops, private lessons, and through online courses.
