Observing the color of your urine is another way to tell if you have had enough water. It should be clear to pale yellow. If darker, not enough water. Soda actually dehydrates the body as the chemicals from the soda a removed from the body, so hydrating with soda--no. One other thing drinking if it is right before, during or immediately after your meal can interfere with digestion. Don't drink for 30 minutes before, during and 60 minutes after the meal. Loved your tips for getting water.
