    I use a bin storage system that people use to store parts in their workshops. If you made sure to put the colors in an order you would remember, and always keep the same color in the same drawer you should be able to keep track of which color you are using, without having to see it clearly.

    Bec Choate. Hi, I am getting ready to start polymer clay. Do you have a preference as to which clay is best? I have Kato it was avaliable in a multi color pack. I am also interested in metal clay do you have videos avaliable for these to?

    Hi Rebecca, sorry for the slow response. I haven't yet started working with metal clay, so unfortunately I can't help you there. As far as which brands of polymer clay to use, the best brands are Kato, Premo, Souffle, Fimo, Pardo and Cernit. I pretty much work exclusively with Premo and Souffle but a lot of artists prefer Kato or Fimo. Try a few blocks of each brand to see which you prefer yourself.     Sounds like you need to keep your colors separate. If your clay is a good brnad like Premo, Fimo, or Kato then it shouldn't get hard unless it is stored in too warm a place. Make sure you keep it in a cool place.

    I love polymer clay I have been for 7 years I am deaf lady I would like to teacher for deaf people and school too but iPad didn't see any close caption thank you
