I inherited a glass grinder from my grandfather. Its pretty old, but it's doing the job for me now because I'm new. The problem is, when I took it apart to clean/oil it, I took off the bit and I don't have the allen wrench to tighten it again. Are they standard sizes and can I buy another wrench? I have tried the ones I have here and its not working. Worse case, I'll buy new bits, but I'm trying to stay in budget.

Hi, Been there! Every grinder bit comes with its own hex key/allen wrench, and it is specific to the bit. I did a little research on the ones I have, and found that they do come in both standard and metric sizes. The ones I have for my bits are standard, and they are either 3/32" (larger bits) and 5/64" (smaller bits.) Metric ones will not work- they'll be either slightly too big, or too small. If you can't find a key somehow, I say spend $20 on eBay, buy 3/4" or 1" Twofer bits, 100/120 grit :-)
