Andrew is a musician and music educator from the beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Andrew is a world renowned music teacher.
Andrew’s work in sound, technology and music education has been featured in media sources such as TEDx, Popular Science, Electronic Musician, Wired.com, CBC’s The National, The Wall Street Journal, Canadian Music Educator, CNN, and Nippon TV. Andrew has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences and symposia including the 2008 ISME Conference (Italy), MTNA National Conference (Minnesota), NAMM (Anaheim) and MENC (Washington, D.C.).
Andrew continues to work on the forefront of music education both nationally and internationally. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Coalition for Music Education and is a past Board member for the Canadian Music Educators Association. He works closely with the JUNOs in the development of educational programming where he developed the acclaimed CDLI Backstage videoconferencing program.
