    • Chris M: It refers to keeping 70 percent of your weight on one leg, and 30 percent on the other depending on what side you are working from. Hope this helps.
    • Master W: 70 % weight is normally on the back leg 30% on the front leg.

    • Master W: This is some thing you have to train, just like with any thing else. The more you practice the coordination the better you will get. Continue to focus throughout and you should see progress.

    • Master W: Better to consult your doctor as i don't know how bad your condition is.
  • mark l: Old Yang taiji repulse monkey, step forward parry and wham!!! I love wing chun. The mixture of taiji and hard movements seems complete.
    • George H: Hard movement is a misnomer...if your stiff through the execution of the technique you'll be slower and will likely lack structure. The actual point of impact is when structure is rooted and energy is projected. There's an ability, that Master Wong expresses, that is inherent in his skill which is difficult to observe directly. That's why it takes many years, at least 10, to make Chinese Wu Shu and mind/body to work effectively. Rooting, Structure, flexibility, intent and using gravity properly.

I have not being in a dojo in 5 yrs.now I live by the memories of working with him .I LOVE THE GUY.CHARLES GAYLORD PASSED TOO.founder of the Gaylord method.now I got aches and pain from old age.   • mARK b: in the video, the first two exercises are described and shown with legs wide apart, but the exercise gives the answer as legs shoulder-width apart.
    • Master W: Shoulder width apart is an ideal distance to be in a comfort position to do the exercise. But if you feel you need to be wider to do the exercise then that is not a problem.
