can you use computer paper

I wouldn't see why not. Computer paper is a bit thicker than tissue paper and decorative papers, so it probably will be a little more difficult to wrap around the tube. But it would work. Also, it wouldn't be as colorful.

I thought it looked very easy and not a lot of money. Practicly i have all of that at home.I LOVED IT!

That is what I am all about.; Crafting and creativity should be simple, come from what you already have and not cost a lot of money. I really excited, because curious has asked me to create a course based entirely on recycled crafts. Keep your eye out for that!
