Does left or right hand matter? I am left handed so I have been using it more where you tend to use your right hand.

The metronome idea for ASL alphabet practice works great! I am now an Andante 100 and tonight went from 50 letters per minute to 100. That is 1.67 letters per second. Stats are up! Do I win a prize? DMB

There are three "Barriers to Study" that the schools don't know or use. They just put the kid on psychotropic drugs. The major one is "The miss-understood (or no definition) word or symbol." Always make sure you get a definition and use it in sentences until you understand it. Did you ever get sleepy and dope off when reading? You went past a word or symbol you did not fully understand. ASL is just symbols with significance.. DMB

Hey Ryan! I have epiphanated on the most marvelous way to practice ASL letter signing, atleast it is for me. google "Metronome" , www.download366.com/Metronome. and install. It wants to give you a tool bar, be your Home Page and default browser but I blew that off. You can go through the alphabet and increase tempo as a game and you improve. Then, I learned typing with "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" which uses every letter. Is cool, no! DMB
