Thank you for the idea! One suggestion if I may. I would use a wider trim to cover both sides of the challah for a cleaner finish. Tho it might require basting to avoid shifting

To have a clean finish on both sides of the challah , I would use a wider trim , fold it along the edges and then sew it on. It might require basting first to avoid shifting and to have a clean and straight finish. Looking forward to watch another lesson
