An alternative phrasing to "no, but" is "I disagree, and let me tell you why". What do you think?

"No, but" is a negative followed by a swap in direction (towards a positive). However, "I disagree, and let me tell you why..." is a negative followed by a reassertion of that negative. You couldnt use the two interchangably.
