the last question is worded a bit strangely. it seems to me based on the explanation in the lesson that the actual median number of the whole set isn’t ever used when calculating interquartile ranges. in a set w an odd number of values, the median is dropped. in a set with an even number of values, the set is split along the median, but because the median, in that case, isn’t a value in the set, it’s not included in the IQR calculation.
