The frame size is one way to measure fit, but the standover height is better. Frames are built with different bottom bracket heights to change handling, cornering etc. So the frame size measured from the b/b to the t/t along the s/t is only an approximation of what fits you. SOH is better. the one to two inch clearance in sox on a hard floor.
