3 CQ
On August 8, all across Kenya, people spent hours in long, chaotic lines waiting to cast their votes in the election. At the polling station inside Kamiti Maximum Security Prison, the scene was a bit different. Produced by: Brenna Daldorph. Image credit: Brenna Daldorph.

Nothing happened. That was a one line statement with a picture. What was the point of the video.

Very fascinating. Shouldn't all citizens have the right to vote? Yes, even those citizens in prisons.

This was very interesting, was there supposed to be video? or just the opening picture? Having been to Kenya and being opposed to the death penalty in general, I am fascinated by the life these men live. How differently they seem to feel. Acknowledging that voting is a privilege and their gratitude for being treated like human beings. Could that be a big part of what is wrong with our prison system in America? Treat people like animals and they lose their self worth if they had any at all.
