Cults like Scientology and Jehovah's Witnesses have equally kept people in mental zoos, not letting them have control over their own thoughts and actions where a group of church leaders tell them what they will think, believe and do. Like the chimps, the levels of frustration, depression and anger often times hits critical mass. Intelligent creatures were never meant to be locked up and controlled.

Very interesting! Actually relates to teaching as well. Students in my classroom have to engage in puzzles on a daily basis.
