The law upon which Pierluisi entered “illegal” office (more like inconstitucional) was made by a previous governor from Bathias own political party. There’s a degree of hypocrisy in his statements. Also, Puerto Rico can’t legally file bankruptcy because of its colonial status, which is promoted mainly by Bathia’s own party. I’m not in favor of the current government but Bathia and his party won’t do any better as testified by years of them governing too.
