Very cute idea especially with Valentine's coming right up. Thank you for sharing it. Instead of red food dye and water, I would use the juice from cooked beets and/or a beet slice or two to give nutrition and natural color. Just a thought. Blessings!

Yes, that's a great idea! The only thing that stopped me from doing the same thing was I ran into inconsistency issues with the beets not turning it so much pink, and sometimes making it more of an undesirable brownish color.

Thank you for the lesson on ravioli. I've never thought about making them heart shaped. Great idea!!

Cookie cutters are such a great tool for these raviolis! You can even make them star shaped, christmas tree shaped, circular... Almost anything with a big enough center and thick enough edges to press down with a fork.

You did not say how many egg whites you used and how many whole eggs you used. Please email me at: classylc737@bellsouth.net Thank you for the wonderful recipe. I hope you share more. Elsie

If you click the paperclip in the upper right hand corner of the screen there is a direct link to the recipe on my website for the pasta and the filling. The pasta calls for 4 egg whites. Thank you for watching :)
