Very cute idea especially with Valentine's coming right up. Thank you for sharing it.
Instead of red food dye and water, I would use the juice from cooked beets and/or a beet slice or two to give nutrition and natural color. Just a thought. Blessings!

Yes, that's a great idea! The only thing that stopped me from doing the same thing was I ran into inconsistency issues with the beets not turning it so much pink, and sometimes making it more of an undesirable brownish color.

Cookie cutters are such a great tool for these raviolis! You can even make them star shaped, christmas tree shaped, circular... Almost anything with a big enough center and thick enough edges to press down with a fork.
