Can I melt the wax in a glass measuring cup?

The O'Neil Sisters
The type of wax in this project has to get up to a high temperature, especially because we're using an additive in the wax. Because of that, it's best to melt it in a pot over direct heat. We recommend using a pot or sauce pan on a stove -- and definitely keep an eye on the temperature so it doesn't get too hot. Hope that helps!
