Prof. Dr. Hendrik Godbersen was born in Hildesheim, a city in the north of Germany. After his military service he attended Leipzig University where he graduated with two Master degrees and a PhD.
After several years in the private sector, Hendrik is currently working as a professor at a German university.
Hendrik aims to connect students with a wide range of historic topics so that people can learn from the past and build a better future.

This year the 500th anniversary of the Reformation will be celebrated around the world.

On the 31st of October 1517, Martin Luther published his Ninety-Five Theses in Wittenberg, Germany. This was the foundation of the Protestant faith spreading all over the world, from Europe to America to Africa, Asia and Oceania.

I would like to invite you to find out more about Martin Luther and his struggle for what he believed to be the right faith.
