I'd like to see how to do it the way the sample paintings look. I guess I will experiment :=)

You're right. Remember that each time you do the painting, it will be different. Conditions like the humidity of your home, the dampness of the paper, how wet the paint is and when you put the paint on the paper after you wet it, all influence the final painting. Personally, I think it is wonderful that all the paintings are different. It is a gift. Just enjoy the whole process. Watercolour is fun and because it is so fast, you can experiment and create a lot of different paintings. Enjoy!
