Excellent! But, what do I do if she barks when I leave? I adopted a 9 year old terrier mix.

The trick is to go out and come back in again before she barks / panics. Keep repeating these lessons many times to build up the time you leave. Sometimes you will of course have to go out and do things. In these moments you may likely experience a setback which will need building up again.

I am pleased you liked the lesson Renae. I now have a full course up and running demonstrating how to deal with a range of behavioural issues.

Very CONVINCING. Hard not to love on your dogs after a day at work but I'll try to give it some time from coming home to petting them.
