What difference does a second rescuer provide that would allow for 15:2? Is it not more effective if I'm the sole rescuer?
CPRCertified.com
Hi Andrew, a second rescuer can be more effective because it allows each person to rest in-between each CPR cycle. This allows for more consistent compression timing/depth and rescue breaths delivery. If you are doing CPR until emergency medical help gets there it can be physically demanding for some people.
