    I love this lesson but am worried about using polish purchased from the store, mixing and selling as my own. Is there a way to make the polish completely from scratch in an empty bottle?

    Hi Dawn, great question! I'm afraid I don't know how to make nail polish from scratch but I think it would involve masks (!!), Butyl Acete, Ethyl Acete, Alcohol and possibly Nitrocellulose. Then of course your pigment of choice. As I said I'm not 100% knowledgable on how to make it from scratch but it can definitely be done I am sure! Let me know how you get on :)

    Hi Maria! So I actually used a pigment eyeshadow/mineral powered eyeshadow. But any very cheap eyeshadow or an old shade is perfect for this :)
