A little repetitive, but I think I will like his style of teaching the whole language rather than by subsets and categories.

Thanks! I prefer to use a wholistic approach to teaching

I want to learn ASL just because It would be nice to know if one day I need it. But how am I supposed to focus on the sign language if I'm busy reading the captions to know what he is saying? I just got through the first video only and already couldn't tell you one thing he did with his hands or facial expressions because I'm too busy reading what is being said

This seems kind of stupid how are people suppose to learn this way. We have been taught differently so how can we read and learn the hand symbols
Rob Nielson
I'm sorry you don't like learning this way. I have found this to be a very good way to immerse language learners to help them be most successful.
