I am new to Cubase and wanted to know where to find info on how to reduce the size of an audio track I imported from a CD. I am a musician and use imporrted audio tracks to use a a reference track that I can record tracks for the project I am working on. My email is dgmay8888@att.net... Any info would be helpful.

There isn't really a way to do this within Cubase, in fact it's going to want you to pick a format and stick with it. May I ask why you need to reduce the size of the file? I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding exactly what you're looking to do.
