Thank you so much for this instruction. I'm new to crocheting, since I crocheted heavily in the 70's and forgot alot. What does it mean at the end of a pattern to join, and the numbers in parenthesis?

Hey Michelle, Join probably means you're working in a circle and you need to join both ends to create the circle. The number in the parenthesis after the row usually is the number of stitches you should have after working that row. :)
