Have you noticed that when listening to music, pauses are important too as the pauses create the silence between the notes. It is the silence and the length of the silence between the notes that helps create the melody. J. PS. Have you checked out the other Speakers' Coach lessons?

Pauses are great. They help the audience to absorb what you just said. Not only that, it gives you time to catch your breath. Major pauses are even better. Pause just before you announce a key word, or the punch line of a joke. Thank you for your feedback. J.
