I have no plans to get into MMA, but I am really interested in how this course can help me improve my running, olympic lifting, and overall fitness.

Mandy, thanks for your comment, and glad you're interested in the course. Whilst it specifically addresses the metabolic demands of mixed martial arts, you may be able to transfer some of the concepts to other physical activities, particularly the sections on VO2max and the anaerobic threshold.
