#whyiwrite 1. because i have to / words burn my tongue / stutter mutter in my brain / make me electric when i explain 2. because i can't draw / so i drape language around form / dress day in abstract interplay / of sound that was meaning to have meaning 3. because i can't ask you to do it for me / so i write down what i want you to write / & you copy it out / perfect it with handwriting divine 4. because i love to make lists / of you / your beautiful caress / you complete this

I write for entertainment purposes, mine or someone else. I enjoy world building and exploring characters and how they grow. I like to create the unexpected, and am rewarded when someone reading my work genuinely was caught off guard. Whether it's been a poem or short story or serial, I just love the escape that writing gives me, as well as the opportunity to let others escape too.
