I am concerned about my teacher thinking that I don't have an expanded english vocabulary, if I say "and" and "but" all the time. Instead of "nevertheless" and "however". Our teacher recommend it.
Stuart Mill English
Hey Angel! The best way to show your expanded vocabulary is to always choose the best verbs, adjectives, and nouns. For example, don't say "friendly" if you mean "cordial". In honest, I do use "nevertheless" and "however" in my writing. I usually do it when I want to emphasize a contrast. They're longer words, so they're a little stronger. And sometimes they just sound better. My point in the videos isn't *never* use those words. Just be careful about it. Make sure you're being clear first:)
