    Have you ever thought of investing a cane slicer of some kind? I recently got one, and it has made my cane work so much better and less stressful for me. I used to try slicing with a regular straight edge like you are using, but I could never get the slices to be even. Or have you ever recommended it for any of your fans who are not as confident with a straight edge as you are?

    I use the LC Slicer and I love it for large canes and thin translucent slices for window pieces..
