wow. love that poem, how it asks us to question the end or absence of courtship, that process of intimacy that defines a relationship.
the nuance about stealing moments of time made me think of all the little things we give, never expecting back. except with traditions like halloween, inviting it back year after year by hanging ghosts etc...haunting image, literally.
this poem has wonderful emotional reverb: it ripples out into memories before shattering into profoundity,
