I think that the reward examples there are not so good. Cause with a reward like “you eat Nutella” you don’t enforce the habit. For example, the reward for the new son’s habit “brushing teeth” could be a new toothbrush, maybe electric... That’s a reward that enforce the habit, helping you in persevering with the new habit. Why that? Cause a reward completely different from the habit will make you see the habit not as a positive thing, but just as a boring duty, something you have to do. :)
