This answered a question I've wondered about for several years. I sing in a choir and often get a tight spasm in a spot on my neck when doing a series of EE sounds. I Figured it was because of radiation damage years ago from cancer treatments to neck. Knowing that I's and EE's raise the larynx and spread the mouth is helpful, and singing relaxed will help

I've taken several of your lessons now and I really appreciate them. I am a singer and support vocal coaching as a necessary part of maintaining my voice, very much like a pro football player. (They wouldn't take the field without their many coaches!) I've learned a lot and your focus, while pop/classical, doesn't clash with my barbershop genre!
