my pattern has complicated instructions. Reads like this...on my(k9,p1) repeat. On a circular needle. Make sure that each purl goes into the knit after the purl from the last row, How do you do that?

I have in progress a knitted afghan. BUT I had a brain aneurysm affecting my right eye and it has been several years since I have been able to work on the afghan. One of the stitches for the pattern is popcorn stitch and I have forgotten how to do that stitch. In order to finish the afghan I need instruction. What do you suggest? I am 82 years old.

what is pm abd M1P
New Stitch a Day
PM means place marker. M1P I think means make 1 but I'm not sure what the P stands for. Usually your pattern will have a key that defines all of the abbreviations.
