Just. Starting. Will continue. Just saying , we did everything right in the first lesson!!! He chose his carrier as his safe place...so months later, it is still on sofa...and hé hangs out in there whenever.

It would be great and informative if you could please tell people why they should spay and neuter their pets, why they should adopt over shopping, and why breeding is a bad idea

Are there ever! Our shelter cat came home on 9-11, yes That 9-11. She was spayed after we chose her on 9-7. She hated being petted until about 4 years ago. It took her that long to feel we adored her. Now she follows me around and is a lap cat. Moral? Be patient and loving, it will work out - eventually.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to find another place for the food they eat!

We have two cats that we adopted from a shelter, they are well adjusted now. I learned some new things with your excellent presentation. Question: Why put the food and water far away from the litter box?
Know It All With Arloa
Thanks for watching Jean! Cats are inherently very clean creatures and they don't like to eat close to where they relieve themselves. If the food and water is too close it can end up causing issues with using the litterbox. It doesn't have to be in a completely seperate room, just not right next to the litterbox.
